Perhaps you know it from yourself? I know it from my life. Fortunately not so much as I used to.
If there just were not so many cars on the motorway in the morning. Then it would only take 30 minutes to get to work. If I only had a wellpaid job, so I did not need to worry.
HOWEVER, the reality is that there ARE many cars on the motorway and that I DO NOT (at present) have a steady, wellpaid job.
I cannot do anything about the cars on the motorway. But I can choose: will I live with the fact that if normally takes 45-60 minutes or can’t I? If I can’t, what are my options? Can I change my working hours, so I don’t have to drive through rush hours? Can I find something closer?
My present job does not bring up the salary that I want! Good! Now I know that. The interesting is: What will I do about it? If I just place myself in the corner and start crying, I may end up with no job and no salary. By focussing on HOW it get it, my possibilities are so much bigger.
This strategy has done my life easier and less stressed, so I can highly recommend this approach.
what about you? Which strategy do you use? and how does it work for you?
